Alex Hernandez, Graduate Intern

People face obstacles in their lives, and my goal as a therapist is to empower my clients to overcome these trials and help them discover their innate potential. I wholeheartedly believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and positive change. I would love the opportunity to work alongside you in your counseling journey and help you uncover your strengths, address the challenges in your life, and accomplish the goals you have for therapy.

My primary focus is to provide you with a space of empathy, compassion, and safety. I have a deep-rooted passion for helping others overcome challenges they are dealing with and succeed on their paths toward personal growth. I understand that seeking healing can be difficult, and I am here to offer you the support needed to navigate this journey.

My style of therapy incorporates components of Narrative, EFT, and Family Systems therapies. My passion is in working with adults and couples. Some of my areas of interest include addiction, trauma, betrayal trauma/infidelity, LGBTQIA+ issues, anxiety, and depression; but I am willing to work with any situation you may be facing.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University in 2022. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Fee: $50 per session
