Breanna Shellhorse

Graduate Intern, University of Oklahoma

As a person-centered therapist, my approach is grounded in empathy, understanding, and a genuine respect for each individual's unique journey. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, and I work collaboratively with my clients to create a safe and non-judgmental space where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My approach is useful with all ages, including children age 7 and up.

My therapy approach is rooted in the belief that the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful tool for transformation. By fostering an environment of trust and unconditional positive regard, I aim to support clients in gaining insight into their emotional challenges, building coping skills, and fostering deeper connections with themselves and others.

My goal is to help people develop the tools to find greater peace and fulfillment. I’m committed to walking alongside my clients, honoring individuality, and empowering them to take the steps toward healing and growth at their own pace.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Oklahoma.
